What happens when people sing together?
ALVEOLI is a research-based project exploring collective voice as a shared, relational and political practice.

Developed across Italy, France and Colombia, the project brings together diverse communities through listening, vocal expression and participatory processes. It investigates how voice can generate forms of connection, negotiation and co-creation within different social and cultural contexts.
The title refers to alveoli — the microscopic structures where oxygen circulates and makes breathing possible. Similarly, the project conceives voice as a living system of exchange, where individual and collective dimensions continuously interact and transform one another.
Through workshops, performances and site-specific actions, ALVEOLI creates spaces in which voices merge into a temporary collective body — shaping structures of resonance, memory and exchange.
The project is ongoing.
